Procedure | |
Heat water and butylene glycol of Phase A to 80°C with mixing. Add microcystallline cellulose, cellulose gum component to vessel with mixing. Homogenize. Add remaining ingredient of Phase A to the vessel with mixing. In separate vessel, combine components of Phase B with mixing while heating to 85°C. Separately blend and grind pigments/Phase C and add to Phase B. Disperse with mixing and homogenizing. Add remaining ingredients of Phase A to vessel while keeping temperature at 80°C and mixing. When uniform, add Phase B/C to Phase A. Add Phase D to Phase A/B/C while mixing. Homogenize until a homogeneous emulsion is obtained. Begin cooling to room temperature. When batch is cooled to <40°C, add Phase E with mixing. In a separate vessel, heat Phase F to 45°C with mixing. When Regu-Fade is completely dissolved, add mixture to main vessel. Add Phase F with continued mixing until uniform emulsion is obtained. | |
