    [body] => JAPAN: After a tense finale, where the contestants had to demonstrate signature looks on live stage, the three winners of the 2017 Schwarzkopf Professional Generation Next hairdressing competition were announced. Yoshihiro Morita, Ryo Asakura and Shiori Nishino were selected by audience members and the Generation Next committee members including Simon Ellis, Generation Next ambassador and international creative director at Schwarzkopf Professional.


The contestants had to perform a live cut and style together with a presentation about their styling concept during the finale. Afterwards, the Schwarzkopf Essential Looks 2017 Hair Trend Show followed, where cutting-edge styles were presented to an audience of hair care experts and fashionistas.


The Japan Schwarzkopf Professional team supports the winners for three years at a local academy where they can hone their skills, their creativity and global communication abilities. In addition, the stylists will be tutored in English to increase their career opportunities abroad.
