Procedure | |
Add phase A to the main vessel and start mixing. Heat to 60°C. Add phase B. Heat to 75°C. Mix with strong agitation without aeration for at least 15 minutes. When the emulsion particle size has reached a minimum, start cooling. When AB reaches 43°C, add phase C, then phase D pre-solution, then phase E. When batch is uniform, add phase F as needed to adjust to final pH. When batch is uniform and at desired filling temperature, stop cooling and mixing and perform quality assurance tests. | |
