US Patent No. 9,655,835 B2; ELC Management patented a cosmetic powder composition for application to skin. It is comprised of one or more cosmetically acceptable particulates coated with a hydrophobic material that is comprised of at least one fatty acid, at least one acyl amino acid and zinc chloride; at least one binder for the particulates that contains at least one silicone resin selected from the group consisting of silanes, siloxanes, siloxysilicates and silsesquioxanes; and an oil-attracting heteropolymer having a protein backbone with lipophilic sidechains. The heteropolymer breaks up sebum into individual droplets and entraps the individual droplets in a film. The powder composition is anhydrous.
