New CEP courses have been scheduled ahead of the biggest cosmetic chemistry event on the West Coast—California Suppliers’ Day (Oct. 25-26) at the Long Beach Convention Center. The courses—both of which will be held Oct. 24, are “Cosmetic Formulations” with Mark Chandler and “Beginning Cosmetic Chemistry” with Perry Romanowski.
The cosmetic formulations course is perfect for anyone interested in the mechanics of designing a cosmetic formulation. Chandler will provide a raw materials overview on emulsions, cleansers, conditioners, sticks, gels, oils and preservation.
The beginning cosmetic chemistry course is designed specifically with beginning cosmetic chemists in mind; however, information presented will also be useful for QA chemists and veteran scientists who want to learn about other areas of formulations, scientists in related industries, college students studying chemistry and marketing or sales people who could use a primer about the chemistry of their products.
