US Patent No. 9,802,064 B2; Amorepacific Corp., Seoul, has patented microcapsules having a multi-layer structure with a core comprised of a fat-soluble material. The microcapsules further contain a polysaccharide having a negative net charge; a protein having an isoelectric point (PI) of 4-6; and a plant-derived glycoprotein having a negative net charge and anti-oxidative activity. The plant-derived glycoprotein is at least one selected from the group consisting of bergenia-derived glycoprotein, green tea-derived glycoprotein, ginseng-derived glycoprotein, pine tree leave-derived glycoprotein, and abies-derived glycoprotein.
The microcapsules have the multi-layer structure comprising the core; the protein; the polysaccharide and the plant-derived glycoprotein, when viewed from the core, according to the patent.
