Franziska Wandrey of Mibelle Biochemistry won the Young Scientist Prize at the IFSCC Conference in Seoul, Korea. Her award-winning essay “How science, technology and social changes influence the cosmetics of the future,” was assessed as the best of the submitted papers.
Wandrey studied biology and did her doctorate in biochemistry at ETH Zurich. For the past two years she has been working for Mibelle Biochemistry as a research and study manager. In this role she develops innovative new concepts for active ingredients and evaluates new test methods, including new Depolluphane, an anti-pollution agent.
