Dow Home & Personal Care, a global business unit of the DowDuPont Materials Sciences division, has introduced the Dowsil product name for its heritage Dow Corning silicone-based home and personal care products. The new name emphasizes the legacy silicone expertise spanning many markets, paired with Dow’s R&D capabilities and global reach, according to the company.
“As we continue the legacy we have built in home and personal care products, we remain focused on our customers and their needs to provide them with innovative solutions under our new brand name,” said Eric Peeters, global business director, home and personal care. “We look forward to a smooth transition as we continue to supply products and services our customers have relied upon for decades.”
