Procedure | |
Part A: Disperse Carbopol Ultrez 30 polymer in glycerin. Mix until a uniform gel is obtained (~15min at 2000rpm). Add the remaining ingredients of part A successively into the batch and mix until uniform. Part B: In a separate vessel, premix Schercemol DISD, 1818 and NGDO esters. Mix until uniform. Add part B to part A. Homogenize at 3,000 rpm for 5min. Neutralize with sodium hydroxide (18%) to pH 5.5–6.0. Mix until uniform. Add successively Merquat* 3330PR polymer, Actiphyte extracts, and fragrance successively into the batch and mix well between each addition. | |
