Sales of beauty devices in the US rebounded in 2017 after a decline in 2016, according to a new report Beauty Devices: Global Market Analysis and Opportunities by Kline.
Kline notes that overall global sales were up, but performance varied by region. Sales soared 25% in Asia; while growth in Europe slowed, partly affected by penetration of non-branded devices from Asia, according to Kline.
And these days, it is not just about what a device can do, but how the treatment can be customized, and that is achieved via designated device apps. Beauty devices that can be easily connected to mobile apps are increasingly popular, as they allow consumers to personalize treatment.
