Now in its 73rd year, the annual meeting is where scientists, academicians, policy makers and other stakeholders in the cosmetics and personal care community convene to share the information, research and innovation impacting the future of the industry. In fact, more than 1,300 industry professionals attended the 2018 annual meeting.
The technical education sessions offer top-notch scientific information on the latest topics and trends, according to SCC. Coupled with a technology showcase featuring more than 100 poster and table top exhibits showcasing new product innovations, raw materials, and student research, the annual meeting has become one of the most sought-after events for this industry.
“The SCC Call for Papers receives abstracts from the industry’s top professionals on cutting edge research and technology within cosmetics and personal care,” said Erica O’Grady, CAE, executive director/CEO of the SCC. “Our outstanding scientific program and technology showcase are developed from these submissions.”
This year, SCC is looking for submissions covering formulation, sustainability, regulatory, safety, and/or claims specific to the following topics:
• Hair Care Innovations
• Color Cosmetics Innovations
• Beauty Devices
• Skin Care & Anti-Aging
• The Effects of Light
• Skin Microbiome
• Green/Sustainable Formulations
