The North American edition of the Sustainable Cleaning Products Summit will be held in New York on July 11-12, according to event organizer Ecovia Intelligence.
This executive summit will be discussing some of the pressing sustainability issues facing the cleaning products industry. The major themes of this year’s event are sustainability developments, green ingredients, and bio-based surfactants.
Discussions will also cover closing packaging loops, zero waste, creating positive impacts, green fragrances, formulating natural home care products, and innovations. The one and half day program comprises two seminar sessions and an interactive workshop.
In the opening session, Melissa Grande of the American Cleaning Institute will give an industry update. A leading home care brand will share its experiences in measuring and reducing its impacts. Howie Fendley of McDonough Braungart Design Chemistry will show how companies can go beyond simply reducing impacts, with Cradle-To-Cradle (C2C) design concepts. Anthony Rossi from TerraCycle will give examples of ocean plastic being used in product packaging, as well as the new Loop platform.
