The Carolina and Mid-Atlantic Chapters are co-hosting skin care CEP courses on Aug. 22 and 23 at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC.
The full-day basic skin care course, “Basic Skin Science 2019-Basic Skin Anatomy and Physiology,” is scheduled for Aug. 22. The instructors are Randall Wickett and KP Ananth of the University of Cincinnati. The course will cover a range of topics, and will be followed by an evening wine tasting event from 6-8pm. On Aug. 23, Wickett and Ananth will teach a second full-day CEP course on “Advanced Skin Science 2019-Advanced Topics on the Epidermis and Stratum Corneum.” This course will cover topics in skin biochemistry, biophysics and molecular biology. It is assumed that the student in this class will already have basic knowledge of biochemistry and skin structure, function and physiology.
