Procedure | |
Weigh and heat phase A to 90°C in bain-marie with rotor stator stirring for one hour. Weight phase B and mix well. Add slowly phase B to phase A with rotor stator stirring (s=1,000 rpm) at 90°C in bain-marie. Allow phase B and A heating at 90°C for one hour in bain-marie with rotor stator stirring. Add phase C to phase A and B in bain-marie at 90°C. Add phase D into the previous phase. Weight phase E. Mix phase E. Add phase E into the previous phase and mix well with rapid rotor stator stirring (s=800 rpm). Add phase F and mix well. Weight phase G. Mix phase G into the previous phase and mix well with rapid rotor stator stirring (s=800 rpm). Pour into molds immediately. Allow to cool for 15 minutes at room temperature. | |

Appearance: Off-white opaque gel block. Stability: 3 months at 4°C, 25°C, 45°C and 1 month at 50°C. Centrifuge 10min @ 3,000rpm and 1 x 80°C/+25°C 24 hours freeze-thaw cycle and autoclave 20min @ 120°C. | |
