DSM (stand K40) has expanded its lineup of UV protection and now offers the broadest range of protectants in the industry, according to company executives. For example, new Parsol Shield provides broad spectrum protection from UVB to UVA-II and UVA-I. DSM calls this oil-soluble, organic filter the most efficient UV protection on the market. Furthermore, it has excellent formulation compatibility and supports challenging sensorial features. The company maintains that a little Parsol Shield goes a long way, as it efficiently boosts UVB and UVA protection across the full range of application forms at low concentrations. It is readily compatible with other Parsol products, especially Parsol 1789.

New Parsol Max provides broad range protection from a host of sources including traditional UVB and UVA, as well as blue light. Moreover, it provides this protection without coloring the final formulation. Parsol Max is a ready-to-use dispersion that can be incorporated into the water phase or at the end of the emulsion process. Parsol Max can be easily combined with all UV filters, especially other Parsol filters. DSM contends it has great sensorial features without whitening the skin.
