Functional Silicone Products in Natural Diluents from Shin-Etsu Silicones

11.10.21

Visit stand 1425 to find out how to capitalize on the performance and sensorial advantages of silicone, while maximizing natural content.

Shin-Etsu Silicones (Booth 1425) will introduce a new series of functional silicone products in natural diluents. The goal of the series is to allow cosmetic formulators to capitalize on the outstanding performance and sensorial advantages of silicone products, while maximizing the natural content of their products. Silicone has a proven track record for great sensorial properties along with a tried and true safety profile. The four new products are all part of their Formulation Design Toolkit used to formulate an array of textures with desired sensorial benefits and high natural origin index (NOI).

Shin-Etsu will showcase three classes of functional silicone ingredients; self-emulsifying elastomer gels, non-emulsifying gels and silicone acrylates film formers in volatile and non-volatile carrier fluids. Visitors can learn how to utilize the Shin-Etsu Formulation Design tool (SFD) to create organic, rich, and high NOI w/o skin care and color cosmetic formulations.
