IFSCC Congress set for Dolphin Hotel Resort in Disney World

With more than 1300 industry professionals already registered, the 29th Congress of the International Federation of Societies of Cosmetic Chemists is set to be a cosmetics and personal care educational extravaganza, insists Congress chairman Guy Padulo.

“The US Society has waited 12 years for another chance to host an IFSCC Congress,” he noted. “Now our time is at hand and this event promises to be a wonderful and exhilarating experience for all attendees!”

The scientific program will provide the latest breakthroughs in Cosmetic Science as we go “Beyond Dreams into New Frontiers.”

The Committee on Scientific Affairs (COSA) has selected 74 podium presentations and 300+ poster presentations from 450 submissions. In addition there will be 8 special keynote speakers. You can be sure that the level of scientific discovery and learning will be outstanding! You will most definitely get a pulse of the latest global scientific innovations from some of the creative minds in our industry.

In addition to the General Sessions, there will be an exhibition that promises to be rewarding to both the exhibitor and the attendee. And the new InnoTech/Connect Zone gives attendees a chance to discuss with leading Universities about emerging technology transfer. Several exhibition companies will also get the chance to make a presentation of their latest innovative raw materials. And lastly, there will be a speaker corner which will give any attendee a chance to ask additional questions of the podium speakers.

A raft of social events includes the Opening Ceremony on Sunday night, and then a Congress Social Event at Epcot on Monday night. Tuesday night is reserved for a number of supplier sponsored social events. The Congress ends with a spectacular gala closing banquet on Wednesday. In addition, a golf outing will take place on Sunday morning as well as a “Fun Run” around the Dolphin/Disney properties.

“Our committees for this Congress have been hard at work to create an atmosphere blended with the right mix of science and learning and enjoyable social events,” said Padulo. “This is the place to be in 2016 where scientists from around the world will meet as one Global community.”
