The Real Lipgloss of New Jersey



Teresa Giudice, star of Bravo's "Real Housewives of New Jersey," branches out into lipgloss.

“Happy Wife, Happy Life” was one of the most popular slogans for Summer 2009, made famous by Bravo’s hit reality television series, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.”

This catchy phase refers to Teresa Giudice—one of the leading characters on the show—when her husband, Joe, was describing the success of his family structure.

And why shouldn’t Teresa be smiling? She stars in one of the most talked about programs of the year, has Baby No. 4 on the way and just rolled out TG Fabulicious, a collection of clothing, jewelry and lipgloss sold online at www.teresagiudice.com.

Visitors to the website are greeted with a note that includes: “I have three little girls who love to dress up ands be the stars of the show. I am passionate about fashion and simply looking good. I hope you ‘love love love’ it.”

The TG Fabulicious line includes an extensive collection of lipglosses.
The “Lip-licious” section of the line features TG Fabulicious Liquid Lustre Lip Gloss ($22), an “intense shine” lip lacquer that plumps up the lips, according to the company. It is said to instantly refine and reshape the contour of the mouth. The product features a blend of natural butters to ensure “all-day comfort and conditioning.” Colors like Pink Kisses or Orchid Ice can be layered together to create a personal shade.

So, why enter the cosmetic fray? Teresa tells HAPPI in a telephone interview, “Well, I love lipgloss. As for the name, on the show I referred to my husband as ‘juicy and delicious.’ Plus, my girls [her three daughters] love the word ‘fabulicious.’ So I decided on TG Fabulicious for the collection.”

Future plans for TG Fabulicious include possible retail expansion into the home shopping realm as well as a full range of “fabulous” cosmetics. As another famous tagline goes—a woman’s work is never done!
