European Wax Center, Wilhelmina Launch Model Search

European Wax Center and Wilhelmina Models are launching a nationwide model search.

The Grand Prize Winner will receive a contract with Wilhelmina Models and a pass entitling her to one year of complimentary waxing services at participating European Wax Center locations in the United States. The five finalists will receive six months of free brow waxing.

Interested contestants are invited to upload their submissions online at www.popsugar.com/summergoddesssearch. To enter in-person, at one of the open call events; check www.wilhelminamodelsearch.com for the most up-to-date information.

All contestants must be 18 to 30 years of age (by July 20, 2015), and at least 5 feet 8 inches tall.

 “This model search with Wilhelmina Models is the culmination of our efforts to celebrate and reveal the beauty in all women,” said Dave Coba, president and CEO of EWC. “Through this partnership with Wilhelmina, we are making the dream of becoming a model a little more attainable.”

Entries can be submitted through July 20, 2015, and beginning in late June, open casting calls will be held in Miami, Los Angeles and in New York City at Wilhelmina's offices as well as at Wilhelmina satellite agencies throughout the US.  

On July 26, the top 20 contestants will be posted on the site. The public will be invited to vote online for their “fan favorite,” and the contestant with the most votes at the end of the public voting period, along with four other finalists selected by Wilhelmina and EWC judges will win an all-expenses paid trip to Miami for an exclusive finals event and photo shoot. An expert panel of judges will deliberate during the photoshoot and the grand prize will be announced on August 19.
