Eye color tests positive for Bacillus cereus.

A recent FDA Enforcement Report include recalls for select Juice Beauty cosmetics products. Specific lots of the brand’s Illuminating Eye Color tested positive for the presence of Bacillus cereus, according to the Dec 31, 2014 FDA report.
 
The products noted in the report are:

• Juice Beauty Illuminating Eye Color (0.5oz)—Color: Champagne Fard a Paupieres; Contains Certified Organic Ingredients; UPC: 834893006500; Lot numbers: 2T2, 1Y3, 1G3 2T2 = October 1, 2012 Expiration 10/31/2014 1Y3 = May 1, 2013 Expiration 5/31/2015 1G3 = August 1, 2013 Expiration 8/31/2015.

• Juice Beauty Illuminating Eye Color (0.5oz)—Color: Chocolate; Fard Fard a Paupieres; Contains Certified Organic Ingredients; UPC: 834893006524; Lot numbers: 2T2, 1Y3, 1G3 2T2 = October 1, 2012 Expiration 10/31/2014 1Y3 = May 1, 2013 Expiration 5/31/2015 1G3 = August 1, 2013 Expiration 8/31/2015.

• Juice Beauty Illuminating Eye Color (0.5oz)—Color: Cappuccino; Fard a Paupieres; Contains Certified Organic Ingredients; UPC:  834893006517;  Lot numbers: 2T2, 1Y3, 1G3 2T2 = October 1, 2012 Expiration 10/31/2014 1Y3 = May 1, 2013 Expiration 5/31/2015 1G3 = August 1, 2013 Expiration 8/31/2015.

The recalls are classified as Class II—“products that might cause a temporary health problem, or pose only a slight threat of a serious nature,” according to FDA.
