Allure revealed its famous 2014 Best of Beauty Awards at an event hosted by editor in chief Linda Wells and VP and publisher Agnes B. Chapski. Over 500 attendees gathered at Center 548 in Manhattan to celebrate the 242 game-changing products across 15 categories.   

Considered the industry's highest honor, Allure's Best of Beauty identifies the most effective and innovative products in the marketplace. Allure's editors test thousands of items, review double blind studies and review independent research and consult with industry experts, such as dermatologists, makeup artists, hairstylists, and cosmetic chemists, before determining the winners. Each of this year's award winners represent the best-of-the-best from among the hundreds of prestige, mass and specialty beauty brands.
