Catherine Dunleavy named COO and CFO; Katie Gohman appointed CMO.

Amanda Baldwin, chief executive officer, Olaplex, is making key changes to the executive team. Today, Katie Gohman joins the haircare company as chief marketing officer. Next month, Catherine Dunleavy will take over as chief operating officer and chief financial officer.
Prior to joining Olaplex, Gohman was with Marc Jacobs. She began her career at L’Oréal and held marketing leadership positions there, as well as Ralph Lauren and Coach.
Dunleavy had been president at Away, moving up from CFO of the company. Her career includes stops at Nike, Comcast, NBCUniversal and GE.
Dunleavy replaces Eric Tiziani who left Olaplex in May. For the past two months, Paul Kosturos served as interim CFO.
Baldwin took the top spot at Olaplex in January. Since then, she’s been rebuilding the company, which took a hit after several lawsuits claimed Olaplex hair bond-building products damaged hair. Those lawsuits were dismissed. Still, Olaplex’s sales fell 13.1% to $98.9 million for the quarter ended March 31.
