Azelis Inks Distribution Agreement with Citróleo Group

Azelis, a leading innovation service provider in the specialty chemicals and food ingredients industry, has forged a new regional distribution agreement with Citróleo Group, a leading developer of 100% natural, sustainable ingredients and actives commonly used in personal care products.

Azelis distributes Citróleo Group’s portfolio of ingredients across India, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines and Singapore.

According to Juliano Della Coletta, chief operating officer of Citróleo Group, the partnership marks Citróleo Group’s first collaboration with Azelis in Asia Pacific. Last December, Azelis worked to fortify its footprint in Latin America with the acquisition of Localpack in Colombia.

He added Azelis’ extensive market penetration and technical capabilities complement the group’s offerings.

Citróleo Group says it’s committed to ethical sourcing, circular production and is known for its focus on natural materials. Its pure botanical actives, oils and butters provide benefits such as moisturizing, anti-aging and anti-inflammatory properties. Sourced mainly from the Amazon rainforest, these ingredients reflect the region’s rich biodiversity and provide a sustainable alternative that can be incorporated into diverse formulations for skin care and hair care.
