US Patent No. 8,597,628 B2; Chanel Parfums Beaute, Neuilly sur Seine, France, has been awarded a patent for a stable water-in-oil makeup emulsion comprising polysilicone-11 silicone elastomer that is either dispersed or solubilized in a hydrophobic solvent to form a gel; solid particles having an optical effect based on the total weight of the stable water-in-oil makeup emulsion; and at least one silicone emulsifier. The emulsifier is dimethicone copolyol comprising at least one oxyethylene group and at least one oxypropylene group.
