ACI Membership Grows

Industry executives say the American Cleaning Institute’s annual meeting and convention is a great place to do business. And they’re backing their words with action. In her opening remarks at the ACI Annual Meeting and Industry Convention, ACI Chairman Catherine Ehrenberger of Amway noted that the event attracted 810 attendees, the highest total in a decade.

Moreover, ACI corporate membership was expected to reach 131 companies following the meeting, up from 113 companies a year ago. The new total represents the highest member since 2003, according to Tom O’Brien, ACI treasurer.

A strong convention reflects strong association leadership and O’Brien pointed out that ACI President Ernie Rosenberg was named one of the top Association CEOs of 2012. In turn, Rosenberg praised the ACI staff, telling annual meeting attendees, “I have the best staff in Washington.”
