SOCMA Welcomes 14 New Members

The Society of Chemical Manufacturers and Affiliates (SOCMA) welcomed four new member companies that are looking to the association for resources and expertise to not only develop business opportunities but also address advocacy and environmental, health, safety and security (EHS&S) issues, according to the organization. The new members were approved by SOCMA’s Board of Governors during a meeting recently in Washington, DC.



“SOCMA is pleased to welcome these four companies, which brings the total number of new members this year to 14,” said Dave Hurder, chairman of SOCMA’s Board of Governors and vice president of McGean. “SOCMA has long been an advocate for the specialty chemical industry and continually strives to create a favorable business climate in which manufacturers and service providers can grow, innovate and compete in world markets,” he said.
