The HairMax LaserComb Lux 9, a medical device clinically tested and FDA cleared to promote hair growth in both men and women, is scheduled to make its QVC debut during Friday Night Beauty on March 16 at 11 pm (ET).

Manufactured by Lexington International, the product is said to nourish the hair with laser light energy to revitalize it and improve its condition. The results of a double-blind, device-controlled clinical study conducted under Good Clinical Practices showed that 100% of subjects on the HairMax Lux 9 experienced hair growth at six months, said the company.

Randy Veliky, Lexington International’s chief technology officer, is scheduled to appear on QVC to explain how the HairMax LaserComb works.

“Hair loss can be a devastating condition, impacting a person’s self-image and emotional well-being,” says Veliky, who has been in charge of the clinical studies. “In the past, treatment usually required a prescription drug and options were limited, especially for women. Now the HairMax LaserComb offers an excellent non-drug option.”
