Millions of women in the US color their hair at some point in their life. As a result, privately owned beauty marketer Alfaparf Milano will introduce for Spring 2012 Evolution of the Color, a collection of “cutting edge” professional hair colors. Not only are these extra mild color formulas free of the controversial ingredient PPD (Paraphenylenediamine), they offer one of the lowest ammonia contents currently in the market place (.7%) making them great for sensitive scalps, said the company.

Additionally, the formulations are the first color formulas to include hyaluronic acid, an ingredient most commonly associated with topical cosmeceuticals. It forms a lattice around the hair allowing a perfectly even distribution of the mixture and perfect adherence to the hair shaft, according to Alfaparf Milano.
