J.R. Watkins, a natural product company selling home care, personal care and gourmet will roll out a new baby care line in early 2012.

“We developed our new line of baby care products with a baby’s sensitive skin in mind, using gentle, natural ingredients, like shea butter, olive oil and chamomile,” said Kate Mannor, senior product development manager for J.R. Watkins Naturals. “The products were formulated to meet or exceed the standards for certification by the Natural Products Association.”

Like all J.R. Watkins Naturals personal care products, the new baby care products—oil, balm, wash and lotion—are free of synthetic fragrances, preservatives, dyes, parabens, petro chemicals, phthalates, polymers, propylene glycol and sulfates.

“Providing consumers with product choices they can trust and feel good about has been a part of our legacy for 143 years,” said J.R. Rigley, vice president of sales and marketing for J.R. Watkins Naturals. “This is just another step in our efforts—we’re excited to provide parents with product options for their little ones, too.”

Introduced in 2008, the J.R. Watkins Naturals Personal Care Products offers more than 50 products, and includes some of the first to ever receive the NPA certification.
