New scent to launch in October in US.

Oscar de la Renta is set to launch his first scent since he reacquired his brand from L’Oréal last year. NewLive in Love, a woman’s scent, will debut on Oct. 15 in the US and Canada. Live in Love is a green floral that was created in conjunction with fragrance expert Ann Gottlieb. She worked with two perfumers from International Flavors & Fragrances — Jean Marc Chaillan and Carlos Benaim. The bottle was designed by de la Renta with the eight faceted sides meant to represent the different aspects of a woman’s life. Price points range from $58 for a 1-oz. eau de parfum to $78 for a 1.7-oz. version to $98 for the 3.4-oz. size. A 6.8-oz. body lotion is priced $49.
