Dow Personal Care has introduced EcoSmooth Satin, a non-cationic conditioning ingredient for body wash and mild conditioning shampoos. According to Dow Personal Care, EcoSmooth Satin provides at least equivalent conditioning performance to cationic polymers at attractive price points. In fact, EcoSmooth Satin (INCI: Ethylene/sodium acrylate copolymer) provides equivalent sensory performance and foam performance to cationic guar and PQ7 in body wash panel tests. In independent laboratory tests with shampoo formulations, EcoSmooth Satin outperformed cationic guar performance on European damaged hair. More info: www.EcoSmoothSatin.com
