Kemin Personal Care (Booth No. 1537) is highlighting four new ingredients at NYSCC Suppliers’ Day. The company, a long-time supplier of lutein to the personal care and nutritional industries, now offers four new natural ingredients for the cosmetic chemist.

MicroCurb, a broad-spectrum preservative made from fermented soy extract, has been proven effective against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, mold and yeast. It is being promoted as an paraben alternative.

Lysofix is a natural emulsifier extracted from soybean. Kemin’s patented extraction process results in a single-chain phospholipid that creates an emulsion with superior stability and useability. Lysofix also moisturizes skin upon application.

Rosamox, derived from rosemary, is a natural antioxidant that prevents oxidative degradation of fats and oils.

Speramox, another natural antioxidant, is derived from spearmint. It is obtained via a gentle water extraction. It can maintain color stability of natural and synthetic colors.

Finally, FloraGlo Lutein, a natural antioxidant derived from marigold extract, increases skin hydration, lipid content and elasticity, while decreasing skin lipid peroxidation and enhancing photoprotective activity.
