Symrise awards five employees the Master Perfumer Certificate. Their work led to internationally successful fragrances for perfumes, cosmetics and household products, according to the company.

During the recent global Symrise perfumers meeting, Achim Daub, president scent & care, presented awards to five top-class perfumers. Maurice Roucel works in Paris and New York, Joachim Corell works in Sao Paulo, while Hans-Georg Reindl and Robert Kuschel are both based in Holzminden. The fifth honoree, Egon Oelkers, received an honorary award since he retired a few months ago. Still, he continues to contribute his experience and works on various Symrise projects.

According to Symrise, all five perfumers share the gift of being able to create exceptional compositions and generate new scent ideas. Their extensive knowledge of in-house materials allows them to give their ideas an individual Symrise fingerprint. They also know the international markets. Thus, all of the honorees have realized successful perfume creations with global clients. They have thoroughly used the perfumer’s network of Symrise to share their expertise and, thereby, continuously expanded it. Apart from that, they particularly like to share their skills with young talents and to mentor and coach them so that they become experienced scent experts.
