Eastman Chemical Company (Booth 422) discussed its upcoming line of new green emollient esters and rolled out a range of cosmetic rosin resins at NYSCC Suppliers’ Day. The green esters are enabled by the Eastman green biocatalytic process, according to the company. The resins, derived from a natural and renewable source, contribute adhesion and gloss to lipstick and other cosmetic products. Additionally, the rosin grade supplied as a liquid is also used as a plasticizer and fragrance fixative. More info: www.eastmanpersonalcare.com
