Spray Lotions and Sun Care Products Are Easy to Formulate with Sucragel

Sucragel disperses a number of oily materials such as butters, sunfilters, silicones and even lanolin into thin sprayable emulsions. By creating an oily gel with the oil phase and Sucragel, you can then dilute this by adding water causing the gel to break down and form a thin milky solution.

The advantage is that you can create a micro-emulsion which gives a fine, even distribution of the oil droplets in the water resulting in a thin but very moisturizing spray. Consequently, going through this oily gel intermediate allows you to easily formulate high SPF sunsprays and sprayable butters and waxes!
