Visit Bontaneco (Stand No. R80) to learn more about Hydresia SF2 a natural, multifunctional, cold process emulsifying system. Based on safflower oleosomes and stabilized with proprietary technology, SF2 can be used (either as the primary or secondary emulsifier) to prepare both natural and traditional emulsions over a wide pH range (3.5-9.0). Highly alcohol tolerant, SF2 can be used to prepare alcohol based (62%) hand sanitizers which exhibit high levels of skin moisturization. The tendency for the oleosome structure to collapse upon drying allows for a delayed and extended release of the oleosome contents (safflower oil and tocopherol) to the skin.
