Evolution Robotics Unveils New Floor Cleaner

Wipes made it easier for consumers to quickly tidy up. Now there’s a robot that will use the cleaning cloths by itself to clean up the mess—humans need not get involved.

Evolution Robotics has unveiled Mint, an automatic floor cleaning appliance designed exclusively for hard surface floor cleaning which the company says dusts and wet mops hard surface floors using popular cleaning cloths, such as Swiffer Dry and Wet Cloths and other similar products.

Evolution has partnered with industrial design company Fuseproject to focus on “usability and create a clear departure from the existing masculine and techno looking products in the market.”

Mint, priced under $250,will be available in retail outlets in the fourth quarter, according to the Pasdena, CA company.
