Soliance (Booth No. C800) has introduced Whitesphere Premium, a potent skin lightening complex that is derived from magnesium ascorbyl phosphate, glabridin extracted from the roots of Glycyrrhiza Glabra and a peptidic extract of brown aglae (Undaria pinnatifida). According to Soliance, the material inhibits tyrosinase activity; prevents dopaquinone oxidation into the eumelanin/phaeomelanin and limits PLA2 activity, which is responsible for tyrosinase activiation. In a panel study, Whitesphere Premium significantly reduced age spots and created a more even skin tone. The panel included 17 volunteers (average age 60 years old), who applied a cream containing 1% active, twice a day for 56 days.
