Patent No. US D565,212. Cosmicare Design & Manufacturing has been granted a patent for its Illumicare lighted support base for containers. The bases are made to fit on clear PVC or PET Boston rounds or bell bottles, but can also be custom designed for any size clear pump dispenser bottle. “The base provides a rotating colorful light show that illuminates the bottle and its contents. This makes it particularly attractive for kids products such as liquid hand soaps and hand gels,” said Rich Butler, president of the LLC, Jupiter, FL-based company.
