St. Louis, MO-based Alpha Plastics an-nounced that the company has a new name—Alpha Packaging. Alpha Plastics was founded 33 years ago as a manufacturer of plastic packaging for the health, beauty, nutritional and pharmaceutical industries. The new name and logo were introduced last spring, accompanied by the company’s move into new offices and warehouse facilities totaling 211,000 sq. ft.

The new name, Alpha Packaging, represents the company’s expanded ability to develop and manufacture high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) injection blow molded plastic bottles and jars, as well as its commitment to carry other packaging components for the industries it serves.

“In the last year, we have acquired another company, increased our product offering, added production capacity, constructed our own manufacturing and office complex in St. Louis and experienced phenomenal growth,” said Dave Spence, president, Alpha Packaging. “The new name and logo are a tangible way to represent these positive changes.”

Alpha’s new corporate headquarters house all Midwest manufacturing, warehousing, management and customer service functions.
