Multivac Expands North American Headquarters

Kansas City, MO-based Multivac expand- ed its headquarters to meet greater customer demand. The newly expanded headquarters includes 20 rollstock and tray sealing systems, as well as more than 100 vacuum chamber units. This reduces shipping lead times for machinery by as much as 75%, Multivac executives said.

In addition, customer support is now enhanced through streamlined ordering capabilities and expanded training and demonstration facilities. These enhancements are intended to provide customers with a highly efficient, single resource for pre- and post-sales support. Multivac University, the company’s training facility, has also doubled in size. The complete restructuring cost $4 million.
