Chemtec Named as Newest Ajinomoto Distributor

The Specialty Chemical Division of Ajinomoto U.S.A., Inc., Paramus, NJ, announced the appointment of Chemtec Chemical Company, Chatsworth, CA as its newest distributor. The distributorship was launched in November 2004 with a technology seminar in Los Angeles hosted jointly by Ajinomoto and Chemtec.

Chemtec was selected as a distributor for a variety of reasons including its outstanding customer service and high level of technical expertise that is supported by its own research laboratory, Ajinomoto executives said.

Ajinomoto’s natural anionic surfactants, humectants, emollients and functional ingredients are known for their mildness and gentleness to the skin and hair, and Chemtec will promote these amino acid-based ingredients to the personal care and cosmetic markets. Chemtec will distribute Ajinomoto products throughout the western United States in states that include California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana and Texas.
