Clorox Makes Personnel Changes

The Clorox Company announced key personnel changes. Beth Springer was promoted from vice president-general manager of the Glad business unit, to group vice president, effective Jan. 18, reporting to president and chief executive officer Jerry Johnston. In this newly-established role, Ms. Springer will oversee the company’s Glad products joint venture with the Procter & Gamble Co. and the company’s cat litter, Kingsford charcoal and food products businesses.

Benno Dorer, who has lead the marketing organization for the Glad joint venture since its inception, succeeds Ms. Springer as vice president-general manager for the Glad business.

The company also announced that Laura Stein was named senior vice president-general counsel, effective Jan. 18, also reporting to Mr. Johnston. In her new position, Ms. Stein will oversee the company’s legal services and internal audit functions. She succeeds Peter D. Bewley, who is retiring after nearly seven years with the company.
