Inter Parfums, Inc. has signed an exclusive worldwide agreement with FUBU The Collection to produce and sell men’s and women’s fragrances. It is contemplated that the first FUBU fragrance line for men and women will be launched within 18 months.

Founded by four young men in 1992, FUBU exploded onto the young men’s fashion scene. Today, FUBU product sales exceed $350 million, and encompass men’s sportswear-formalwear, ladies, and children’s apparel, as well as footwear and accessory items. The exposure FUBU has received has helped to create a loyal brand following from ages 5-55 in both the U.S. and abroad.

“Not only does the FUBU brand allow us to target traditional distribution channels, it also offers us a unique opportunity to reach emerging venues of distribution which should create a terrific buzz for a newly created fragrance,” stated Jean Madar, chief executive officer of Inter Parfums. “FUBU will allow us to offer a new contemporary fragrance to consumers. Everything about the FUBU fragrance lines from scent to packaging to advertising and marketing will complement the lifestyle image of the FUBU collections.”

Daymond John, FUBU’s chief executive officer stated, “I look forward to helping create a unique and exciting fragrance for the marketplace and feel that Inter Parfums’ present and past reputation will help us achieve our goals.”

Inter Parfums, Inc. develops, manufactures and distributes prestige perfumes such as Burberry, S.T. Dupont, Paul Smith, Christian Lacroix and Celine, as well as mass market fragrances and cosmetics in over 100 countries worldwide.
