The renowned celebrity stylist will help to revitalize the company’s color offerings.

Beauty Quest Group (BQG), an integrated manufacturer and marketer of professional and specialty retail hair care products, has brought renowned celebrity hair colorist and educator Beth Minardi on board. The collaboration is part of a company initiative to revitalize its legacy product lines, most notably its Rusk color brand. Minardi will advise in the areas of education and training as well as research and development for new innovation. Minardi joins a new BQG leadership team that also includes beauty industry veterans Scott Missad as president and CEO and Mary Burns as CMO. “Beth has been an industry visionary and innovator for more than thirty years, and no one understands the evolving needs of colorists and clients as keenly as she does,” said Missad, CEO of Beauty Quest Group. “Because her ideas are always ahead of their time, she is the perfect partner to help move Rusk and BQG, a beauty incubator in its own right, into the future.” “I am honored to be part of a team that is laser-focused on color and its potential to help people live their best lives every single day,” added Minardi. “BQG is committed to bringing color to the forefront of their offerings and I’m excited about what we are going to create together.” Experience Minardi’s career has been dedicated to giving salon professionals the products and education they need to serve their clients as true artists. Armed with a B.A. in Education and Dramatic Arts from the University of Central Florida, followed by a cosmetology license, she began her career in color at Clairol, where she rose through the ranks and honed her expertise in product development and education. Later, she would help L’Oreal transform its newly acquired Redken brand into a hair color-centric company. At the same time, she co-owned and operated the chic Minardi salon on the upper East side of Manhattan, while also serving as a contributing editor at Modern Salon magazine. Today, based in New York City, Minardi continues to see private clients. Minardi is one of the industry’s most decorated colorists. She has been awarded the NAHA’s Lifetime Achievement Award, EmPowerHerMent’s “Ceiling Crasher” awards, and was named one of Modern Salon’s “Fifty Most Influential Hairdressers.” In addition, she is the winner of PBA’s Icon Award, and was named Haircolorist of the Year by American Salon. On numerous occasions, BehindtheChair.com has named Minardi Best Hair Colorist of the Year and Best Color Educator of the Year. Most recently, the Professional Beauty Association has nominated her for Hair Color Educator of the Year.
