The International Federation of Societies of Cosmetic Chemists (IFSCC) is a global association of over 16,000 cosmetic chemists in 79 countries. That's a lot of innovators! And they will meet in 2022. The 32nd edition of the IFSCC Congress will be held at the Park Plaza Hotel, Westminster, London from Sept. 19-22, 2022. Organised by the SCS, the title of the 32nd IFSCC Congress London is “Where Beauty, Science and Innovation Meet “, with podium and poster presentations invited on three supporting themes: beauty of the new age, science for our time and innovation for tomorrow’s world. These wide-ranging themes will include sessions on well-ageing, sensory science, the application of artificial Intelligence in the cosmetic industry as well as neuroscience genomics, microbiota research, practical ingredient technology, manufacturing innovation and many more topics! The world will be in London for the 32nd IFSCC Congress. “Science has been very much at the fore in recent months,” said Beerling. “At a time when health, our mental and physical well-being, and that of our planet, is more important than ever, the cosmetic industry helps people to look and feel great – as well as safe. Science is driving our knowledge about how to do this in a sustainable way, which is incredibly exciting and absolutely essential.” Bringing together cosmetic science thought leaders from every part of the industry and academia this showcase event for both fundamental and applied cosmetic research will be back in the UK for the first time in 20 years in 2022. Chair of the IFSCC 2022 Steering Committee, Judi Beerling, Past President of the Society of Cosmetic Scientists (SCS), says: “We are preparing a groundbreaking event that will feature leading research, talk about future trends and highlight the constant innovation that drives our industry.
