PZ Cussons Names New Chair

Silver will take over for Harvey upon his retirement in 2017.

The Board of PZ Cussons appointed Caroline Silver as non-executive chair of the company. This will be effective from  Jan. 1, 2017 following the retirement of Richard Harvey. 
She was appointed as a non-executive director of the company in April 2014. She is presently senior independent director and chair of the audit and risk committee. She is managing director at Moelis & Co, the global investment bank. A chartered accountant, she has worked within the investment banking sector for over 25 years and has a wealth of international experience, including substantial exposure to a number of African markets.   

Richard Harvey, Chairman of PZ Cussons said: “I am delighted that Caroline has agreed to succeed me. She has exceptional business credentials and has contributed greatly to the Company in her role as a Non-executive Director. This continuity and her strategic vision and leadership skills will serve the company well.”
