US Patent No. 9,353,333 B1; AS Innovations LLC, Litchfield, CT, has patented a liquid laundry additive comprising zinc ricinoleate, carboxyalkyl cellulose and at least one surfactant. The zinc ricinoleate is present, on a wet basis, in an amount of 5% or less, the ratio of total surfactant to zinc ricinoleate, on a dry basis, is less than about 1:1. The additive is pourable and essentially free of enzyme.
