Orveon Taps Christina Hull as Chief Transformation Officer

Newly-created role will expand mergers and acquisitions at the beauty company.

Orveon has tapped Christina Hull as its new chief transformation officer. The owner of Laura Mercier, Bare Minerals and Buxom is looking to expand its mergers and acquisitions with the newly-created position.
 
Hull joins the Happi Top 50 company from GF Capital.

In her role, Hull will focus on accelerating organization performance through creation, communication, and execution of strategic initiatives, including leading M&A. As a member of the Orveon executive committee, she will partner with “Orveoners” throughout the collective to focus on achieving revenue and EBITDA targets with particular attention to delivery of Orveon’s value creation plans, according to the company.

Hull has a proven track record of realizing value creation by leveraging her deep knowledge of beauty and extensive network as she drives organizational alignment and optimizes team productivity.

About Christina Hull

Hull started her career at Goldman Sachs in the Investment Banking Division with the Consumer and Retail Group focused on Mergers and Acquisitions where she advised on transactions involving Berkshire Hathaway, Carter’s, and Home Depot. Following Goldman Sachs, she joined GF Capital where she advised the Estée Lauder Companies on strategic acquisitions and divestitures.

In the following years, Hull was a leading team member in investing the firm’s institutional private equity funds, guiding the team to successful investments across the beauty, fashion, wellness, lifestyle, home, and media industries. Over time, Hull expanded the fund’s portfolio into Asia via a synergistic, vertically integrated network that generated new brand partnerships, established new revenue streams, and led directly to bids for company acquisitions. 

As a founding member of Chief, a private membership network focused on connecting and supporting women executive leaders, Hull is committed to developing individuals and teams to function at their best. She is passionate about driving meaningful change in the beauty industry, both by developing the next generation of professional talent and by translating collaborative ideation into impactful advancements for the customer.

Hull is a former student athlete and continues to enjoy running, skiing and basketball. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and was recruited by The Jackson Laboratory and National Institutes of Health to conduct genomic research.

Orveon's Development

Orveon was created following Advent International's deal with Shiseido Americas in December 2021. Since then, the company has been expanding its c-suite.
