US Patent 11,241,375 B2 (Hubert Tunchiao Lam, Christopher Pang); L’Oréal, Paris, has patented a cosmetic composition comprising of at least one waterproofing agent consisting of a latex polymer; and at least one polyhydroxyalkanoate. At least one polyhydroxyalkanoates is composed of at least one monomer having a carbon chain length of L, where 3≤L≤5. The composition contains water present in a total amount of less than about 10% by weight.
